Deep-fruited and slightly hazy, this profound and meaty Estate pinot does require some cellaring. Its oaky bouquet of cherries and red plums overlies complex suggestions of undergrowth, duck fat and herbal tones. Sumptuous and deeply weighted, it’s long and firm, with layers of fruit and structure backed by sweet cedar/vanilla oak.
