Domaine Dauvissat is a family estate that is among the most emblematic estates of Chablis. The Dauvissat estate has a remarkable terroir and produces some of the greatest white wines from Burgundy.
Arguably the finest address in Chablis. Vincent Dauvissat uses oak sparingly to add complexity and dimension to his piercingly mineral concentrated wines. Some of barriques are 30+ years old. They are wines that are rarely exotic in their youth, tight as a drum in fact, but with age (and they age by gracefully by the decade) as they evolve and develop into exciting and comprehensive wines of sophistication and interest.

Green apple fruit with a touch of bitter pear skin adding bite. Dauvissat has four parcels with the largest opposite the premier cru of Forêts. A great ‘straight’ Chablis which has a super-fine texture to go along with the ripeness and lingering acidity

Anise, Asian pears and a subtle nuttiness on the nose. Subdued and tightly coiled for the vintage and yet explosive on the palate. From cooler sites, which in this day and age is clearly beneficial. Excellent Chablis of chiseled length and notable concentration. Drink or hold.
