Founded in 1974 by Pat and Joe Campbell, Elk Cove Vineyards is one of Oregon’s oldest and most respected wine producers. The Campbell’s estate vineyards now cover over 380 acres on six separate sites in the northern Willamette Valley. Steep, south-facing slopes with well-drained soils provide the perfect environment to grow the world-class wine grapes that are handcrafted into Elk Cove’s wines. In 1995, Adam Campbell joined forces with his parents to make Elk Cove a multi-generational, family-run operation. As winemaker and general manager, his contribution to Elk Cove Vineyards is based on a love for wine and tremendous respect for the land on which the grapes were grown.

Tasting Notes

94 Points Vinous
Vivid ruby. Potent red and dark berry aromas are complemented by suggestions of cola, allspice, licorice and candied flowers. Silky, focused and alluringly sweet, offering concentrated black raspberry, cherry cola and rose pastille flavors accompanied by an energizing mineral flourish. Shows excellent balance and spicy lift on the energetic finish, which is framed by smooth, even tannins.
