The 2019 is a fabulous wine, with ripe apple fruit showing a citrusy edge to it, balanced acidity and impressive length on the palate. Roulot now farms 5ha of vines in this appellation, located between the village and the Route Nationale, spread over eight parcels. The fruit is lightly crushed and fermented in cask (mostly used) before ageing for one year. Drinking Window 2021 – 2029.

Offering up scents of pear, citrus oil, white flowers, peach and freshly baked bread, the 2019 Bourgogne Blanc is medium to full-bodied, satiny and incisive, with racy acids, fine concentration and a fleshy but precise profile. This is another success in the making.
87-89 Points Allen Meadows
A ripe nose features notes of mostly white orchard fruit and lemon-lime nuances. There is very good richness to the energetic medium weight flavors that culminate in a chiseled, clean and very dry finale. This too is an excellent Bourgogne and highly recommended.
