The 2019 Morey-Saint-Denis Village offers up aromas of raspberries, orange rind, warm spices, sweet soil tones and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, supple and velvety, it’s charming and expressive.

A slightly more deeply pitched nose features notes of poached plum, dark raspberry and newly turned earth. There is very good power to the medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a dusty, delicious and nicely complex finish that flashes a bit of rusticity. A quality villages.

Beautiful pure mid purple. No reduction in this wine, lovely perfume to this, fairly ripe, but very far from excessive, I love to keep smelling this. Suave and svelte on the palate, the whole bunches can be sensed in the background, just giving an additional lift. Long and fine.
