91-94 Points Allen Meadows
A fresh and ripe nose is comprised by spicy aromas of various dark berries, underbrush and a hint of the sauvage. There is very good energy to the delicious and nicely refined medium weight flavors that deliver excellent length on the intense and firm finish. This is really lovely and in particular I admire the impeccable balance.
94 Points Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Notes of orange rind, exotic spices, red berries, plums and incense preface the 2019 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Aux Combottes, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine that’s showing brilliantly in bottle. Seamless, lively and concentrated, it concludes with a long, perfumed finish.
