Description
88-91 Points Allen Meadows
A ripe and pretty mix features notes of red and dark berries along with abundant earth and underbrush nuances. There is good richness and volume to the nicely intense middle weight flavors where the lingering finish possess slightly better depth than it typically does.
88-90 Points Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Clos du Château is the finest rendition of this bottling that Rousseau has produced to date. Offering up an inviting bouquet of sweet red berries, candied peel, raw cocoa and loamy soil, it’s medium to full-bodied, lively and fine-boned, with more concentration than preceding vintages and good length on the sapid, nicely defined finish.
