Description
89-91 Points Allen Meadows
This is actually not aromatically dissimilar to the Bourgogne Chardonnay with perhaps a bit more overall layering. By contrast there is considerably better concentration to the more mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors that offer both good richness and vibrancy, all wrapped in a dry, clean and focused finish. This is a very fine Meursault villages and worth considering.
91 Points Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Aromas of crisp yellow orchard fruit, citrus oil, oatmeal, beeswax and fresh pastry introduce the 2017 Meursault Village, a medium to full-bodied, satiny and enveloping wine that’s pure, precise and penetrating. More generous and textural than Ente’s racier 2018 rendition, the 2017 is performing very well from bottle.
