Typically destemmed, open-fermented, 22 months in French oak, (66% new). The vintage was always likely to produce the mix of intensity and generosity, and it is indeed that. The luscious blackberry and satsuma plum fruit of the medium to full-bodied palate has a faintly savoury trimming that adds to the overall appeal. Lovely wine.
