Tasting Notes

97 Points Huon Hooke
Very deep purple. All purple, no red. Massive nose or staggeringly rich, concentrated, ripe fruit and oak perfectly harmonised. Not vanillan and certainly not coconutty. Very powerful, elegant, deep, and concentrated, but no suggestion of overripeness or jubey fruit. It’s a serious, elegant, finely-structured wine of classical shape and proportions. Tremendous length. Will turn into a great wine.
