92 Points Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2008 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Beaux Bruns is turning into a beautiful Burgundy. There are plenty of bright red berries, raspberry and wild strawberry on the seamless nose, with a hint of marmalade loitering in the background. The palate displays fine concentration, quite powerful and perhaps more masculine than Ghislaine Barthod’s usual style, but it is adorned with a compelling spicy finish. This is only beginning to show what it can do.
