Tasting Notes

93 Points Stephen Tanzer
Saturated ruby-red. Vibrant, perfumed aromas of blackberry, violet, licorice, minerals and pepper. Cool, precise and penetrating, with very intense blackberry, mineral and pepper flavors and a powerful backbone. This offers terrific lift and cut. An outstanding showing.

90-92 Points Allen Meadows
A reserved, cool, spicy and exceptionally elegant black pinot fruit nose with obvious mineral and violet notes introduces pure and beautifully delineated middle weight flavors that possess near perfect balance on the linear, pure and sweet finish. This is relatively forward but with a slight finishing edge at the moment.
