Krug is the first and, as yet, only Champagne House to create prestige Champagnes every year since its foundation in 1843.

At the House of Krug, every Krug Vintage celebrates the distinct character of a particular year.

Krug Vintage is not the selection of the best wines of a good year, but the selection of the wines which better express the story of the year. The creation is then enhanced by a stay over ten years in Krug’s cellars.

Tasting Notes

94 Points Wine Spectator
A seductive, fully mature, spicy-flavoured Champagne that’s rich in texture, full in body, still quite firm in balance and long on the finish. What a satisfying taste experience!

94 Points Robert Parker Wine Advocate
Another great Krug, this with a lot of autolysis on the nose with a touch of melted butter, then with wonderful delineation in the mouth and an edgy citrus finish to keep you on your toes. Gorgeous.

19/20 Jancis Robinson
Fully mature, bronze colour and rather a sluggish bead. Quite a bit of mushrooms and toast on the nose but wonderful freshness on the palate. Great balance. Powerful but not at all sweet. Fully resolved. Very impressive.
